Hi! I’m Emeric Payer. I grew up in Hong Kong and have been open-water swimming since childhood, exposing me early on to the huge problem of ocean plastic pollution.Ocean Recovery Alliance (ORA) organized many of the races I grew up competing in and helped open my eyes to this issue. Doug and his team at ORA have always been a huge inspiration, working endlessly toward plastic-free seas.Supporting ORA through this swim is my way of giving back.
